The insurance industry today is marked by change - consolidation, demutualization, and a strong trend toward specialization. Competition among insurers has intensified, and improving financial performance is of paramount importance.

At the same time, scrutiny from outside constituencies - financial analysts, regulators, and policyholder interest groups - has amplified the demand for information and analysis.

This environment demands best practices in all aspects of insurance company operations - financial management, product development, information systems, and client services.

Join Li-May Chew of Asia/Pacific Financial Insights, as she identifies the top ten strategic initiatives for the Asian insurance industry for the 12 months going ahead. These focus on the four central themes centering around sourcing and integration, channel management, emerging technologies, and risk and compliance.

This session will also share findings from a survey of senior insurance executives conducted recently in Singapore, elucidating their IT spending growth plans and identifying specific arenas for these expansions. Ensuing sessions will cover how institutions can drive profitable growth through rolling re-forecasts and driver-based planning, and how best to harness the power of information to generate profitable information and leapfrog competition.

Organized by S & I Systems, Business Objects and IBM, this conference will give attendees an insight into the strategies progressive insurers of today should adopt in their planning agendas.

This conference is complimentary for all insurance industry practitioners only.
